First Attempt

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the blogging world. I have read other people's blogs, but never attempted my own. Here we go!

A little about myself:

Education/Professional Goals
I recently earned a Bachelor's degree in field of Education. I am currently perusing a Master's degree in Education. My specialization is Early Childhood. I hope to one day teach in a Pre-Kinder classroom. I feel that the early years of a child's life are extremely important. I believe that the educational experiences that a child has during these years affects the child's view towards education for the rest of their lives. It is imperative that children are inspired and encouraged in the classroom environment. Children may seem small and insignificant, but their potential and the feats they may accomplish are endless.

Hobbies:
I am currently seven months pregnant and haven't been feeling interested in anything other than sleep lately. Before I became pregnant I enjoyed hiking, biking, reading, simple craft projects, watching various TV shows, and playing WOW with my husband. I also enjoy eating anything chocolate. That can be a hobby right?

Family:
I am married to an amazing man who inspires me to enjoy life, stay motivated and set personal goals. We have been married for six years, and are still infatuated with one another. Our relationship is not perfect of course, I don't believe that anything can be truly perfect. We have managed to work through the hard times and emerge stronger and more entangled and in love then before. We are expecting our first child next month. I am elated to begin a new chapter of our lives together.

Pets:
Our first "child": Honey.
I have an over energetic Golden Retriever named Honey. She enjoys going for walks, swimming, slobbering on people, taking naps on the couch, and chasing frisbees. She has brought my husband and I many hours of entertainment. Honey has always been treated like a princess and therefore believes she is human. She immediately falls in love with every person she comes in contact with. This can be a little annoying at times, especially to the poor victim who will most likely be covered in kisses and reddish Honey hair.

I also have a cat. He has many names, his formal name is Sawyer, but he is also known as Mr. Munch, KitKat, and Soy Boy. He will respond to any of those as long as there is food involved. He is a large, fluffy, butter cream colored cat who believes that he is a dog. He sleeps, eats, and plays like a dog. His favorite pass time (other then eating) is chasing bouncy balls around the house. He can be antisocial, and isn't as affectionate as Honey. But one look as his fluff-ball of a belly and I am helplessly drawn to him.

Well, I think that will be all for now.

Until next time...
