Wow, I can’t believe I am
writing the last blog post for this course (and my degree)! I have learned so
much throughout this program. I feel that I will now be able to offer my
students a higher quality educational experience. And look forward to making a
positive impact in the field of early childhood education. I have learned that
I need to have more confidence in my capabilities. There was a time when I didn’t
think I would earn an Associate’s degree let alone a Master’s degree! I have
also discovered a desire to educate adults within the realm of early childhood
education. During this course I learned that I am deeply interested in the
development of early literacy skills. I hope to pursue this topic further.
A long term goal that I have is
to find a position teaching in the early childhood education department at a
local college. Before I do this I want to gain at least three years of
experience teaching in early childhood classrooms. I want to be able to share
real life experiences and scenario examples with my students.
I would like to say farewell to
my classmates and instructor. It has been a wonderful experience getting to know
you. I hope to stay in contact with many of you. I have gained valuable
insights from your perspectives on the field of early childhood education. The
collaborative learning experience has been invaluable. It has be a great
resource to be able to get feedback and ideas from people who are working in
various facets of the education field. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and
experiences with me.
Angela,
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing the course, and program! I also can't believe this is all done. Yesterday I sat down and read a magazine without feeling guilty that I should be doing schoolwork, it felt strange. Good luck with your future goals. Whatever program you work for will be lucky to have you teaching their children.
Dear Angela,
ReplyDeleteI agree it seems hard to believe that we have finally reached the end of this journey. I wish you the best of luck on your future goals.
Crystal
Angela,
ReplyDeleteIt has been lots of work and I do wonder now how much spare time I will have! Thank you for all your valuable insights and please do stay in touch. I wish you much success as you pursue your doctorate!
Blessings,
Deb
Angela,
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe we are done either!! It seems like just yesterday I was taking my first course! We have learned so much and are ready to take on the world! I have decided to pursue my Doctorate, too! I'm taking a break due to my new job as Vice-President of Operations of a growing early learning center chain though! Good luck and I hope our paths cross again!
